The Westlake Lacrosse Association was founded in 2003 by Edmond Aghajanian (former 15 year veteran Head Lacrosse Coach of St. Ignatius High School) to introduce lacrosse to 3rd through 8th grade boys in Westlake and surrounding communities. The goal of Westlake Lacrosse Association is to provide boys the opportunity to experience the great sport of Lacrosse and to develop fundamental lacrosse and athletic skills, teach teamwork and sportsmanship.Lake, Lakewood and Rocky River, Cleveland, Fairview, North Olmsted and Parma. Our teams participate in the Ohio Middle School Lacrosse Association. All of our coaches are former high school lacrosse players
(many have college lacrosse experience as well).

2. Schedule / Calendar
Lacrosse is a Spring sport. Our season runs from late March through late
May. To develop basic skills we encourage players to attend as many skills
clinics as possible.
Practices will tentatively begin late-March
and continue until mid-May. A typical week
would consist of two or three practices
and 1 or 2 games. A calendar will be posted
on our website once everyone is registered.
Players must provide their own stick, gloves, arm pads, rib pads
(recommended not required), shoulder pads, support/cup and mouthguard.
The WLA will provide the helmets and team jerseys. Purchasing through the
WLA can save you up to 20%.
Equipment prices and order forms are available.
Team shorts are included in the registration fee.
